Of all my favourite things in the world, travel and adventure are at the top of my list. Whether it’s helping to design a clients dream vacation or packing my bags and flying off to explore a new destination, the smile on my face and sparkle in my eye are a true reflection of what I believe is 'living the dream... my dream!’
Having travelled the world extensively, I knew that a career in the travel industry would be one way to live a life I'd love, fuelling my passion and provide me with the opportunity to share my experiences and the knowledge I’d gain along the way. Fast forward 24 years.. and I’m still here… living the life I’ve created, doing what I love and I’m honoured to be able to share my sense of ‘wanderlust’ with you.
The Retreats by Design story began in 2017, born from a love of Bali and through my own research of the places I loved to visit, shop in and eat at - I created and designed an itinerary for a week well spent, in this tropical paradise! It has become a ‘passion project’, one that is forever evolving and growing and I’m super proud of it! Offering truely authentic ‘retreat’ experiences, along with fostering the connections and communities we support, align deeply with our own core values and philosophies in life. Relationships that work together grow together and supporting local is fundamental to our business model here and abroad.
I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share what I’m passionate about and the connections I make along the way, with all of you. I can’t wait to meet you and look forward to sharing my experiences of the places we visit and the people we meet, watching you create connections that you will cherish, moments that you will laugh about and memories you will share, for years to come. “Where to start?! So, there was a bit of trepidation about going on a retreat with other people I didn't know. Tina made a group chat to inspire us (wet the appetite) for us to ask questions on a few months before going on the trip, which helped the 'getting to know' anguish. We had a driver waiting to pick us up - traffic was chaos - then total tranquility of being at the Villa Yoga. Ahhh... pure bliss!
